Therapies for Adults
We offer Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy and Clinical Neuropsychology to adults with acquired brain injury and other neurodisabilities.
Therapy packages are bespoke for all ages and severity in a variety of circumstances such as clients' own homes as well as in workplaces and residential units.
Person Centered Goal Setting
The skills of the therapists are used to assess and work to help the client and family (where appropriate) to set realistic goals to work toward. Whenever possible measurements are taken for later comparison to assess progress.
Flexible Delivery of Therapy
We have a independence which enables us to deliver therapy flexibly in a variety of locations and to provide treatment carefully around such issues as physical fatigue, cognitive abilities and behavioral challenges in a cost effective manner. Emphasis is placed on service users' achievement and success whilst recognising limitations and encouraging creative thinking to overcome them where possible.
We accept self-referral, professional referral and larger contracts
Our specific skills in the field of brain injury are often commissioned in addition to NHS therapy services and in this case we liaise carefully with our NHS colleagues to ensure the therapy provided will be harmonious in working toward quality sustainable outcomes.
Our team has an in-depth knowledge of the legal compensation process and we often work to effectively test and deliver the recommendations made by experts. We are familiar with the types of evidence and reports required by the legal process, the state and official receivers as well as service users and their families.
