This has been possible due your care, skills, and the frequency with which she has been able to work with you each week since she came returned home in 2020.

Having OT and Physio input from Rachel and Gemma has helped me immensely so, it gave me more confidence and I felt like I could face the world again. Having the clinic at Gateshead with Steps Prosthetics was a life saver. Having to travel to Sheffield was a long journey so being able to just go down the road was so much easier for me. Going there and back in a day was a long day and very tiring.

Following a road accident, I spent nine months in hospital, because of the head injury I was unable to walk so my time in hospital was focused on rehabilitation, but I soon learnt progress would be very slow.
When I came out of hospital, I was still unable to walk without a walking frame and therefore required further physio, fortunately Neural Pathways came to my rescue. I now attend the hub twice a week and in addition receive home visits. The facilities at the hub are excellent and the staff are fantastic, so caring and considerate to my needs.
It is very easy to become disillusioned after understanding the consequence of my accident, but since attending the Neural Pathways I have been inspired and motivated to learn to walk again. They have a clear plan to help me walk again and the professionalism of the physio team makes me determined to succeed.
